Harmony

Three circles, three horizons. Harmony reads like the view from a train window along the Konkan coast south of Mumbai: a combed sky, a sea made of real draped fabric, and fields of red-flecked earth. The three canvases are sized to hang together, each echoing the others at a different scale, a small family of landscapes that brings calm to a room.

तीन वृत्त, तीन क्षितिज। "हार्मनी" मुंबई के दक्षिण में कोंकण तट पर चलती ट्रेन की खिड़की से दिखने वाले दृश्य जैसी है: कंघी से उकेरा आसमान, असली कपड़े की सिलवटों से बना समुद्र, और लाल छींटों वाली धरती। तीनों कैनवास साथ टाँगने के लिए बने हैं, हर एक अलग आकार में दूसरों की गूँज है, परिदृश्यों का एक छोटा परिवार जो कमरे में शांति लाता है।

Trois cercles, trois horizons. Harmony évoque la vue depuis la fenêtre d’un train longeant la côte du Konkan, au sud de Mumbai : un ciel peigné, une mer faite de véritable tissu drapé, des champs de terre mouchetée de rouge. Les trois toiles sont pensées pour être accrochées ensemble, chacune faisant écho aux autres à une échelle différente, une petite famille de paysages qui apaise une pièce.

ثلاث دوائر وثلاثة آفاق. تبدو «هارموني» كالمنظر من نافذة قطار على ساحل كونكان جنوب مومباي: سماء ممشّطة، وبحر من قماش حقيقي مُسدل، وحقول من تراب تتخلله بقع حمراء. صُمّمت اللوحات الثلاث لتُعلّق معاً، كلٌّ منها صدى للأخرى بحجم مختلف، عائلة صغيرة من المناظر الطبيعية تمنح الغرفة سكينة.
